PowerQ evaluated multiple options and recommended the approved option for HVAC and electrical system for this 2 million Sq Feet facility. PowerQ prepared the construction documents (drawings, specifications, cost estimates, design analysis) and performed construction services for the design of Electrical, ACMV, BMS and Fire Alarm system. The AC system has a capacity of more than 4000 R. Tr. and Electrical connected load is more than 12MW.
The design involved heat load calculations, electrical load calculations, power system study using SKM Power Tools software to evaluate short circuit levels and production of schematic, layout and detailed floor plan for tender bid package.
Preliminary sizing, design and cost estimates were prepared to provide an emergency engine generator (EG) to support portions of the HVAC equipment when normal utility source power fails. The ACMV system employs central pre-cooled fresh air and central chillers.
Based on the design specifications and drawings developed by PowerQ the owner, India Land, awarded various contract in technical consultation with PowerQ to for equipmnets from company such as Trane, ABB, Mitsubishi etc.
